A 4-Hour Deep Dive Into the Patterns Driving Your Life

couple therapy

Through an evidence-based, one-on-one Intensive, we’ll explore your attachment history, decode the way your mind works, and pinpoint the conflicts that keep you stuck with yourself and with others.

You know something is “off,” but you can’t put your finger on it.

You replay situations in your head. You question your reactions. You feel frustrated that the same challenges keep showing up – in your self-talk, your choices, and your relationships.

It’s not a mystery—it’s a pattern. And until you can clearly see the pattern, you can’t change it.

I Get How You Feel.

Hi, I’m Dr. Jen.

For more than 25 years, I’ve helped adults untangle the complicated web of emotions that keep them stuck—loops of self-doubt, internal conflict, and the relentless feeling of not being “enough.” As a mental health counselor, attachment specialist, and founder of I Choose Change, my work focuses on helping you reconnect with yourself so you can navigate life with clarity, confidence, and a sense of belonging.

In an Individual Intensive, we delve into your attachment history, apply the TEA Method (Thoughts, Emotions, Actions), and identify the internal and external conflicts that keep you stuck. The result: you leave with insight, tools, and a renewed sense of agency over your life.

I’m trained in both Attachment-Based Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), blending the science of how the brain works with the compassion and safety needed for deep, lasting change. Over the years, I’ve developed resources like The Attachment Blueprint and The Secure Self Love Tools to help clients continue this growth well beyond our sessions.

In this 4-hour private session, you will:

1. Complete the Adult Attachment Interview (AAI)

This in-depth, guided conversation reveals the attachment patterns you developed early in life and how they shape the way you think, feel, and act today.

2. Learn and Apply the TEA Method

TEA—Thoughts, Emotions, Actions—shows you exactly how your internal dialogue creates your emotional state and drives your behavior. You’ll connect the dots between your “automatic” reactions and the underlying beliefs fueling them.

3. Practice the CALM Method

CALM—Curiosity, Attune, Listen, Mirror—equips you with a framework for staying regulated and engaged, even in triggering moments. You’ll learn how to slow reactive spirals and replace them with responses that keep you grounded and connected.

4. Explore Your Core Conflicts

We’ll identify the friction points you experience within yourself and in your interactions with others—then work toward new, healthier ways of responding.

You’ll leave with a clear map of your patterns, practical tools to shift them, and the language to finally explain what’s been happening inside you.
