Anxiety in kids; can you spot it?

Kids experience anxiety in a multitude of ways.
The younger the child, the harder it is to spot anxiety because they haven’t learned yet how to express it.

In the wake of covid, adults struggled to navigate new stressors and different anxiety. Our kids are in the same boat.
With the world ever changing, more kids are experiencing anxiety, and they aren’t sure how to cope with it.

What’s the takeaway?

This class is geared towards helping you learn how to identify anxiety in your child. My goal is to help you feel confident in your ability to address the cause of the behavior.

You will discover how to respond to the behaviors in healthy ways and how to make positive changes. and Learning how to support your children outside of those behaviors so that they can start healing, growing, and moving forward. With these tools, you will grasp better ways to communicate and connect as a family while managing difficult emotions stemming from anxiety.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have worked with children and parents as a therapist for 14 years. I love working with kids on expressing emotions, communicating, processing events, and learning the give and take of relationships.

In addition to my professional experience, I have 3 children of my own. Parenting was a lot easier before I actually had children! Some of my favorite responsibilities are my husband and two kids. Not only do they keep challenging me every day, but they also keep driving me forward to become a better wife, mother, and person.
