self-awareness, establishment of boundaries and increased trust in yourself and others.

Hi! I’m Lyndsey. The experience of life often resembles a road trip to a new or unfamiliar destination. Through the process of counseling, my role is to help you navigate the ups, downs, and rocky roads as you work towards your goals. My work is driven by the passion I have to help others find meaning and live their most authentic lives. My number one goal is for you to safely explore who you are, what you need, and how to get what you want out of life. In my sessions, utilizing proven techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, I strive to facilitate a variety of experiences and approaches that are specific to your needs, strengths, and background. It is important to me to listen carefully to your story and to collaborate with you in prioritizing what is need to achieve growth and change. You can expect the utmost care in my work with you through demonstrating compassion, respect, empathy, and a non-judgmental space.

Increase self-awareness, establish boundaries, overcome depression, tame anxiety, and increase your trust in yourself and others.

Self-Care Guru

Are you working to find answers to questions like, “Who am I?” and “What is my purpose?” Let me help you increase your self-awareness, establish boundaries and increased trust in yourself and others. I’m passionate about my work, but I’m most passionate about helping with the reduction of social anxiety. Anxiety keeps us from living the lives we hope for because it acts as a barrier in relationships as well. Through processing, educating, and practicing, we will work together to manage or eliminate anxiety that is overtaking social settings.

Officer of Optimism

Find your true power and potential through work to find self-love and acceptance. Let me help you foster a greater sense of emotional intelligence and stability while changing your core thoughts and beliefs that are affecting your interpersonal experience. I use holistic and integrative approaches to help you build trust and navigate challenging relationships. Work through life’s stages and transitions, reconnect with your significant other and establish a sense of understanding.

Positivity Princess

Our lives don’t always go as planned. In fact, many have experienced specific concerns, abuse, or neglect. As your therapist, I will work to help you find your voice and recover from any past struggles that cling to your present.

Books I Recommend

My friends lovingly refer to me as “sun baby.” Being outside, soaking up the sun, and admiring nature are my favorite things to do in my free time. I value self-care and time spent with loved ones. I take seriously the things I choose to do outside of work. Traveling, hiking, or spending time with my husband and two fur-babies are things that fill my cup! And, I love being a counselor! My treatment approach will include evidence-based strategies (like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing) that allow for exploration of new perspectives. Mindfulness techniques and interventions are worked into sessions to encourage well-balanced living. Focus areas include anxiety, depression, couples, self-image, eating disorders, tobacco cessation, and life transitions.
