Fee Options

Counselor fee:  $105-$145
With this option, you will pay for the full session, and we will be happy to file your out-of-network insurance for you electronically.  You will owe the balance due at the time of your session until the first EOB (Explanation of Benefits) arrives so we know the exact amount of your session.  

Counselor Intern fee:  $65-$85

Our skilled interns offer a service at a much lower rate as they work on mandatory practice hours.  The intern counselors are licensed and have their master’s degrees, and offer a great service at a much lower cost. (Note: Counselor Interns sessions are not reimbursable by insurance.)

If one of these options does not work, and your finances are in question, please talk with your counselor one-on-one about additional sliding scale options.  Our Office Manager is not able to negotiate fees, but your counselor will work with you as needed.

If you would like us to submit to your insurance, please fill out the new client paperwork and we will check your benefits for you.

Other Options:

Online Therapy

Use Skype or Google Video to have your therapy session. These sessions are more flexible and can be done in the comfort of your own home.

Virtual Therapy Fee:  $105
Virtual Therapy with Intern: $65

Bulk Pay

Buying a package means you buy sessions in bulk, so you pay less. We have several packages to choose from:

  • Bulk 5 – Buy five (5) sessions at one time and save 10%
  • Bulk 10 – Buy ten (10) sessions at one time and save 20%

Family and Personal Coaching:

  • Change Retainer:  $85 per month.  Unlimited support emails throughout the month. Your Counselor or Coach helps keep you on track through email sessions
  • Supported Change:  $210 per month.  One 1-hour session (either phone, chat or video), plus unlimited support emails throughout the month
  • High Achievers:  $795 per month.  Five 1-hour sessions, plus unlimited support emails and phone chats throughout the month

Forms of Payment:

Fees are due at the time of service. Our office takes Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit Cards, Checks or Cash.  All checks should be made out to “I Choose Change”. We do not offer pay as you go accounts unless prior arrangements are made. All checks returned unpaid will be subject to a $25 administrative and processing fee.

**Please note that no-shows and cancellations not made 24 hours in advance by telephone will be billed at the full rate of your session. You are expected to make your appointment as arranged, and waiving this fee will be decided on a case-by-case situation.
