Ready to take the first step to counseling? We’re here to provide a safe, comfortable, and confidential place for you to feel understood and heard. We’ll work together to tackle your goals.
If you’re a new client looking to schedule, there are a few ways to get in touch with our office. You can schedule online, email into our office, or give our scheduling staff a call. We have several options depending on your budget, insurance, and issue, so you’ll want to read about each counselor before scheduling, or talk through options with our scheduling staff. (Your calls are confidential.)
Once you’ve scheduled an appointment with us, an INTAKE PACKET will be sent to the email you provide. Your clinician will review this paperwork prior to your first appointment.
Our office is only open by appointment only as we do not have front desk staff. Please contact our office to schedule; walk-ins are not accepted.
Counselor fees range from $55 to $155. To know if a counselor meets your specific issue, you can visit our clinician team page by clicking here. Our scheduling staff will also be able to schedule you with a counselor that both meets your needs and meets your budget.
n the event of court proceedings where we are court-ordered to appear, or our records are needed, our hourly fee is $200 for any amount of work performed including copies, drive time, wait time, depositions and court proceedings.
Some of our clients accept BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD (BCBS). We are pending with Aetna and Medicaid. Additionally, we encourage our out-of-network clients to seek reimbursement electronically by using BETTER because it is quick and easy.
We also offer free 30-minute non-clinical consultations. All therapists are different. Use this appointment to find out if this counselor is a good fit for your needs. Suggested questions to discover: Is this the therapist the best fit for me? Do I connect with this therapist? Do I feel like I can trust this therapist? What will this therapist do to help me with my needs? This session is *not clinical*. It is intended to be a “get to know you” session only, to find out if the counselor is the best fit. Counselor will share their methodology and practice style with you during this time.
FORMS OF PAYMENT:
Fees are due at the time of service. Our office takes Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Debit Cards, Checks or Cash. All checks should be made out to “I Choose Change.” All checks returned unpaid will be subject to a $25 administrative and processing fee.
**Please note that no-shows and cancellations not made 24 hours in advance by telephone will be billed at the full rate of your session. You are expected to make your appointment as arranged, and waiving this fee will be decided on a case-by-case situation.
