But instead of getting off the ride, I got the help I needed. It changed the ride from a roller coaster to something much more enjoyable and healthy. I'm not saying that hanging on to a relationship like that is for everyone, but I do love him and was willing to fight for change in me and therefore, change in us, and him followed. It is my hope that others won't wait until your nauseated on the roller coaster. Get some help and do the work. It's not easy but well worth it.
